The plot is really in bloom now - the sweet peas are storming ahead and everything else is starting to flower including many other hardy annuals, half-hardy annuals and perennials.
The mellow pastels of spring are starting to blend with the stronger brighter colours of summer allowing for some beautiful colour combinations.
I've had a busy week with buttonholes and bouquets to make up and hosting a 'make-your-own bouquet' party. Its a joy to be able to share and celebrate the beauty of British flowers picked a few metres from my doorstep!
