A joyful celebration - Hannah and Liam's colorful wedding flowers

Hannah and Liam's wedding was full of colour and personal details, with flowers in a mix of bright colours and scented foliage arranged with a wild, ‘just gathered’ feel. Their wedding flowers were a real celebration of the best of early summer in the flower field.

Wedding details

Wedding Month | May

Ceremony | St Andrew's Church, Backwell

Venue | Barleywood House

Photographer | Evoke Pictures

Bridal Party Flowers

Hannah carried a mixed bright bouquet of roses, peonies, iris, snapdragons, geums, honeysuckle, sweet rocket and sweet peas. Hannah's bridesmaids each wore a different pastel shade and carried bouquets to match Hannah's. The buttonholes contained ranunculus, strawflowers, nigella, statice and sweet pea tendrils.

"Sacha was incredible for our wedding and we cannot recommend her enough! We aren't overly knowledgeable about flowers but wanted as much colour as possible and so we gave that brief to Sacha and she brought it to life for us! The flowers were incredible from the bouquets to the button holes and table flowers, we were blown away by how beautiful they were. We had so many compliments from guests about how great the flowers were and I think its the first time I've ever seen guests taking pictures with the flowers at a wedding! Sacha really went above and beyond for us allowing us to visit where she grows the flowers (which is really impressive) and helped to transport them between the church and venue. Thank you Sacha!"

Ceremony Flowers

The church with two large stone urns on plinths, filled with colourful flowers - one in the entrance porch to welcome guests and the other as a backdrop to the ceremony. These were both moved to Barleywood House at the bottom of the stairs and beside the grand fireplace in the dining room.

Reception Flowers

Dining tables were decorated with glass bud vases filled with colourful wildflowers and delicate tealights, coordinating with the table runners and napkins.
