Come and visit us on our plot in Somerset for the opportunity to stroll among the flowers, learn some floristry skills and take home some of our seasonal blooms!

Pick your own vase or handtied arrangement

Come and have a tour around our farm, a relaxing and meditative pick your own flowers session followed by tea and cake while the flowers rest and have a drink. I will then do a quick demo of a vase or handtied bouquet arrangement to guide you with creating your own masterpiece to take home and enjoy.  All flowers and equipment will be provided, along with refreshments to include delicious home-made cakes from a local artisan bakery.

Grow your own everlasting flowers

4th July 9.30am – 12pm

I will welcome you with tea/coffee and cake and we will begin with me presenting you an overview of the session and the subjects we will cover including types of flowers, how to grow, drying techniques and floristry techniques using dried flowers.  This will be followed by a tour of the plot where I can introduce you to different areas and approaches to growing, demonstrating you don’t need a large area to grow flowers. We will go in depth into the different aspects of growing, drying and using everlasting flowers in an informal setting, questions are welcome throughout. No previous knowledge is required. To end the session we will head back out to the plot and harvest some flowers – the first flowers to take home and begin your everlasting flower collection.

Grow your own cut flowers

I will welcome you with tea/coffee and cake and we will begin with me presenting you an overview of the day and the subjects we will cover including ground preparation, propagation, types of flowers and how to grow.  This will be followed by a tour of the plot where I can introduce you to different areas and approaches to growing, demonstrating you don’t need a large area to grow flowers. After this and after lunchtime we will go in depth into the different aspects of growing cut flowers in an informal setting, questions are welcome throughout and I will provide you with a comprehensive handout to take home. No previous knowledge is required. To end the day we will head back out to the plot and sow some seeds – the first plants for your new cutting garden to take home! Lunch and refreshments included.

Floristry techniques and foam free mechanics

3rd August 10am – 4pm

17th August 10am - 4pm

I will welcome you with tea/coffee and cake and we will begin with me presenting you an overview of the day and the different topics we will cover.  This will be followed by a tour of the plot where we will pick a range of flowers to create foam free arrangements in the afternoon. After this and over lunchtime we will go in depth into techniques, explore colour and texture, try mechanics for no-floral foam arrangements, discuss ideas and inspiration for creating exciting yet practical floral displays. We will then get hands on and create a bowl arrangement to explore your creativity.  The day includes all materials, beautiful seasonal flowers, a delicious 2 course lunch and refreshments throughout the day.

Flower crown workshops 

2.5 hrs (9.30 – 12am or 1.30-4pm), £55/per person

I will then do a quick demo of a flower crown then you can begin creating your very own flower crown masterpieces. All flowers and equipment will be provided, along with refreshments to include delicious home-made cakes from a local artisan bakery. This could also include lunch if required at an extra £10 per person.

The perfect way to celebrate a special birthday or occasion with friends and family, such as a hen party or baby shower.

We also offer private workshops to small groups, held in our new studio space or cutting garden. These can be tailored to your requirements but could include making a hand-tied bouquet, a vase arrangement, or a flower crown to take home with you. All flowers and equipment will be provided, along with refreshments to include delicious home-made cakes from a local artisan bakery.
