Well, it will certainly be a spring to remember. With most of the world on lockdown life has changed dramatically for many. Its taken a bit of adjusting but I think many people can relate to a slower pace of life and learning not to take things for granted. To appreciating the hard work of our keyworkers and to feeling the heartbreak of not spending time with our loved ones.
For me its been a chance to spend time together as a family, to really enjoy our home and the simple pleasures of gardening and appreciating nature emerging this spring. We have been blessed with some beautiful weather and I know we are so lucky to have this little corner of Somerset to enjoy.
Needless to say we have been busy in the flower field. Although weddings have been postponed, we will carry on growing and have had enough local requests from customers and florists to keep us busy. I have had the pleasure of preparing and delivering some special bouquets to local customers from friends and family near and far, for birthdays, get well soon wishes and just to reach out and say 'I'm thinking of you'.
