ick and Konrad married on a glorious August day in the beautiful Crowcombe Court nestled at the foot of the Quantock hills in Somerset. They had a thoughtful and intimate ceremony with their closest family and friends with every detail thought of. The flowers were arranged in elegant and romantic style to fit with the overall Art Deco (1920’s) theme. We used an abundance of wild trailing foliage and statement flowers of different shapes and sizes, combining shades of white and cream with jewel tones of oranges, pinks, peaches, and touches of purple.

"As someone that believes passionately in the importance of caring for wildlife and the environment, it was key to find a florist for our wedding that shared the same ethical and caring approach. Finding Sacha, a local organic flower grower and florist was the highlight of the wedding planning adventure.
From the first online chat, to our visit to the flower fields, it was clear that Sacha not only understood what I was hoping would be possible with my floristry ideas but she had the vision and passion to transform and translate that into reality in a more spectacular and breathtaking fashion than I could have hoped. Sacha is warm, enthusiastic and incredibly gifted.
Knowing that our flowers were seasonal and not shipped hundreds of miles, with limited impact on the natural world, made them even more glorious when they adorned our venue so perfectly. I was so proud to carry such a magnificent, showstopping bouquet.
We were so proud to support Sacha's business and have no hesitation in recommending her."
Nicky and Konrad, August 2023
Bridal Party Flowers
Nicky and her bridesmaid carried glamorous and elegant cascading bouquets with wild and delicate scented foliage trails, tied with ivory satin ribbon. Flowers included jasmine, honeysuckle, dahlias, roses, phlox ‘cherry caramel’, and amaranthus.
Konrad and his groomsmen wore unique buttonholes of dahlias, roses, berries with poppy, scabious, orach and nigella seedheads, bound with ivory ribbon.
The ceremony
The beautiful ceremony room at Crowcombe Court was staged with a pair of elegant large urns on plinths to frame the ceremony area. These were filled with large branches of seasonal foliage, collarette, single and waterlily dahlias, roses, scabious, cosmos, jasmine, amaranthus, orach, honeysuckle, phlox and sanguisorba.
The reception
The table flowers were a mixture of tumbling arrangements on tall gold stands and elegant gold and glass bud vases full of seasonal flowers in jewel colours. These perfectly complimented the beautiful dining room and elegant place settings by Creative Collections.
